$30,000,000 in October for Rivers Casino

In the month of October, Rivers had $30 million adjusted gross receipts—much higher than the nearest casinos in Joliet and Elgin, which both averaged $18 milllion.

Rivers Casino revenues actually rose over the previous month—which is saying a lot, considering the other Illinois casinos are struggling to keep pace.

Rivers is making roughly $1,000,000 a day–or $45,000 an hour over the course of its 22-hour day.

Rivers Casino had 318,178 admissions for October—an average of 10,605 customers a day.

Since it opened, Rivers has had 1,340, 377 admissions. Average gross revenue per admission is $99–meaning this is the average Rivers collects from each customer.

Just for fun, take a look at one month’s revenues in August 2011 from one portion of Nevadas casinos. Looks like the highest casino earning come from Carribean Stud.
